• ESGE Days 2023 will be held as a hybrid event. Core scientific sessions will be conducted in-person. Free paper sessions will feature recorded presentations and live in-person discussion with presenters. Hands-on training and a selection of networking activities will only be available onsite. The Postgraduate Course will be available on demand from Wednesday, April 5, 2023 via the digital platform. Delegates will have the opportunity to submit questions to the Postgraduate Course faculty for discussion during the live event in Dublin.

  • Registration to ESGE Days 2023 opens on December 1, 2022. Delegates have the choice of registering either for the hybrid package (which includes both the onsite event as well as access to the virtual platform) or simply the virtual component (digital package). Access to all Postgraduate Course material is included in both registration types. An additional fee will be charged for hands-on training. Please note spaces on these courses are limited and early registration is recommended.

  • ESGE Members: Your ESGE member’s identification number (ID) can be found in your ESGE member’s area profile. Please log in to ESGE members area at esge.com and go to “My Profile” within “Your dashboard”. The ID number is displayed just above your name. The ID number is also included in your membership fee invoice. The ID number will be required when registering as an ESGE Member.

  • Yes, the Hands-On-Training Courses are limited to either 5 or 6 participants per course and per station depending on the course topic.

    ESGE also reserves the right to impose a limit on the number of delegates attending scientific sessions onsite in Dublin if COVID-19 regulations require this. There is no limit to the number of participants registering for the digital package.

  • Participants can register for the onsite event (hybrid package) up until the event starts and also during the live event itself. Registration for the digital package is possible up until the close of the on-demand platform i.e. June 30, 2023.

  • Delegates can pay for registration either by bank transfer or via credit card payment. The following credit cards will be accepted: Visa, Mastercard, American Express.

    Please note that bank transfers will not be possible after April 5, 2023. From this date only credit card payments will be accepted.

    Payments will only be accepted in EUROS.

  • To acquire a visa letter, please indicate this during the registration process. You will be asked to provide your passport number, nationality, and date of birth. A visa invitation letter will then be sent to you via email.

  • Converting your registration from digital to hybrid is possible any time until April 22, 2023 and the difference in registration fee will be charged.

    Any conversion from hybrid to digital received in writing prior to March 13, 2023 will receive a refund of the difference in registration fee (minus 35 EUR processing fee). No refund will be given after this date.

  • Members of the press will be asked to provide a valid press ID card during the registration process and onsite. Members of the press will not be permitted to register for any hands-on training courses.

  • All cancellations and amendments must be submitted in writing to the conference office by email to esge@interplan.de. Cancellations received in writing prior to March 13, 2023 will receive a refund of the registration fee (minus 35 EUR processing fee). No refund will be given after this date; however, an alternative participant's name may be submitted until April 7, 2023.

  • Three days prior to event login data will be sent to all registered delegates via email. This applies to anyone who has registered either for the hybrid or the digital package.

  • Delegates who have registered for the hybrid package will receive a bar code via email approximately two weeks prior to the event. Please bring your bar code with you - self-check-in stations will be available onsite for easy and registration. Please also remember to check current COVID-19 regulations for Ireland.

  • Faculty members are not required to register themselves. Confirmation of your registration will be sent to you closer to the event.

  • No, hands-on courses are only available in-person onsite in Dublin. Almost all the remaining sessions and offerings will be streamed to the platform or available there on-demand throughout the event.


  • Abstract submission opens on Wednesday September 28, 2022 and closes Tuesday December 6, 2022.

  • Yes, all accepted abstracts are published in Endoscopy.

  • Abstract submitters will be informed in February 2023 as to whether their abstract has been accepted.

  • Yes, if your abstract is accepted you will be asked to register for either the hybrid or the digital package.
