An Integrated Initiative Against Colon Cancer

A Public Health Education Initiative for the people of Milan brought to you by Regione Lombardia, SIED and ESGE

Thank you to everyone who laced up their trainers and joined us for our ESGE Days 2026 Fun Run & Walk to help raise awareness for the work against Colon Cancer, with the aim of promoting primary prevention, healthy lifestyles, physical activity as a health tool, involvement between the scientific community and the local community!

Thank you to everyone who took part in the ESGE Days 2026 Fun Run & Walk along the Milan Citylife to raise awareness for an Integrated Initiative Against Colon Cancer!

Congratulations to everyone who took part, and in particular Katarina Polomska, who was first in the Women's 5k, and Darragh McCallagh, who was first in the Men's 5k and Aet Seire, who was first in the Women's 2.5k walk, and Juan Castro who was first in the Men's 2.5k walk. There was also a fantastic presence from our industry colleagues!

Your enthusiasm and team spirit made for a wonderful morning, and we hope you enjoyed the scenic route. Stay active, keep up the positive energy, and we look forward to seeing you all again next year!

Please note that our photographer will be photographing and filming athletes along the route and at the finish line. The photos will be made available to participants in the Fun Run/Walk upon request and all material will also be used by ESGE to promote future ESGE Days activities. The resulting photographs and footage will not be handed to any third party and will not be used used for any commerical purpose.
